The moment after we left our initial meeting with Leanne and Evan, I said to Ed: "I hope we book that wedding; they are an awesome couple!" So needless to say, I was super excited when I got the email just a few hours after we met with them saying that they wanted to book us! We've been stoked ever since about their wedding - it's going to be a blast!
Leanne and Evan booked an Engagement Session as part of their Wedding Collection with us; and I was happy they did. Not only was it a chance for us to catch up again before their July wedding, but a perfect opportunity to get to know each other even better. Every couple should do this!
We met met up with Leanne and Evan a few weeks ago to commemorate their engagement. I was super excited that they wanted to come to Albany since the tulips were just starting to bloom and everything was looking fabulous! After the session was over, we relaxed together with a late lunch at The Albany Pump Station - one of our favorite spots in Albany. There was a group there that bought our first round of drinks; they must have known Leanne and Evan are about to tie the knot. All in all, it was a great day!
So let's get to these photos. :)
We first met up with Leanne and Evan for their session at the Pruyn House starting off in this cute little schoolhouse. Seemed fitting since they first met while teaching at the same school. Love these next few.
The grounds of the Pruyn House are just gorgeous!
For the second part of their session, we headed into downtown Albany. Leanne has special family history with some of the buildings in Albany, so we wanted to use a few of them as a backdrop during their session.
Although this next photo wasn't part of her family history; it did make for a great backdrop. :)
LOVE this shot; it's definitely one of my favorites from the day.
Leanne and Evan will have a private online gallery of all their images in a few days. Please inquire for details!
Congrats again to Leanne and Evan! Looking forward to seeing you two in July!!!
All the best until then ~ Jess & Ed
