I've been excited about posting Ashley and Damien's blog since the day of their wedding! I have to admit that this wedding was one of my favorites of the year - there are lots of things about this wedding that I will always take with me. Not only are Ashley and Damien a beautiful couple on the outside, but on the inside as well - just great people!! And Ashley is such a sweetheart! She was so excited on her wedding day; I remember her at one point exclaiming "I'm getting married today!" while she was getting dressed. It was so sweet!

There is this song by one of my favorite musician duos, Lowen and Navarro, and parts of it remind me of this couple. The song is called "If You Loved Me Like That", and the specific part of the song goes like this: "Can't you see what's going on, she's lost in her lover's eyes; if the sky fell down, she wouldn't realize." 

Not just on their wedding day, but even when we first met these two, I could see this about Ashley and Damien. Wedding day came, and there were times it was like it was just the two of them there, not their guests, not us. They were just lost in each other. And on top of that, the love that was there between both families - wow, I really can't even describe it in words. So hopefully you'll see it when you look at these photos. There were several times during the day I had to hold back tears! Ed and I were on such a high when we left this wedding, and even now, I still feel it. Families this sweet, sincere and loving don't exist as much as they should! Damien and Ashley - you guys are truly blessed not just with each other, but with your amazing familes!  

So Ashley and Damien, thank you guys for letting us be a part of this day and inviting us into your families for a short time. It was amazing to be a part of it all!! I will never forget it.

Sit back and relax guys, this blog is a big one. Ashley and Damien were married at one of my favorite venues The Mansion Inn in Rock City Falls. Lori and her staff are truly amazing. The Inn itself is so beautiful and the food is always excellent! Did I mention that we love going there!?
