I've been excited about blogging Karen and Deven's wedding since before we even shot their day! These two are a great couple - just amazing! From the moment I met Karen I knew how much fun this day was going to be. She is so full of life and spirit and has to be one of the sweetest people I know. Every time I see her I just want to give her a big hug! Oh, and Deven's pretty great too. ;)

We were psyched to be heading back to Crooked Lake - we love working there! Janice, Marty and their staff are so great to work with! I was also psyched to be working with our friend Mike Garrasi of Music Man Entertainment - did you know he DJ'd our own wedding? It's always great to see and work with him! Not to mention this was our first time working with Will and Pierre of Nuvue Cinema. We had a lot of laughs with them throughout the day!

We first worked with Karen and Deven late last fall when we did their engagement session, sneaking it in just before the leaves were gone. It was a fun day at the Nipmoose Barns!

First look time! :)

The rain was on and off all day, but these two were troopers and went out despite the drizzle - thanks guys! Loved these ones we got by the lake.

Crooked Lake has so many beautiful spots! How cute is Karen? I love her smile - it's infectious!

Deven gave us a few good laughs during the day. :)

To get shots like the one above, and the one below right, you gotta be super flexible. Good thing Ed is. :)

If you watch my blog at all, you know one of my favorite moments of the ceremony is just before the first kiss. The feeling and excitement of just becoming husband and wife - it's just such a great moment. You can really feel it with these two! :)

After the rain came a beautiful sunset - so we convinced these two to go back out for just a few more pics. I'm so glad we did!

Yeah ... so ... um, if you make a goofy face and we shoot it, there's a pretty good chance you're going to make it onto the blog. :)

Oh, did I mention their wedding day was also my birthday? Karen made sure to point it out to all her guests when she presented me with a Mini Birthday Cake from Coccadott's. Even with all her planning she was thoughtful enough to remember me! It was super sweet! Thanks Karen! The cake was delish!

At the end of the night, Mike blasted out a song by one of Karen's favorite bands - Paramore called Still Into You. I loved the song - and photographing Karen and Deven singing to each other. In fact, I downloaded the song off iTunes when we got home, and I'm blasting it right now. :)
