I am excited to share with you my last wedding from 2018 - Laura and Mike's wedding in Lake Placid! These two got married on top of Whiteface Mountain and celebrated after with a reception at the Lake Placid Golf Club. 

One thing I have learned about shooting on Whiteface Mountain is that you always have to be prepared for the ever changing weather at the top (and Lake Placid in general, it seems!). This wedding day was no different. It of course, was windy, the sky was off and on sunny throughout the ceremony and while Laura was reading her vows, a beautiful fog was passing through just behind them. Mother nature picked some great moments to shine through for me at this wedding!

Heather and I toured around Wilmington with Mike and Laura a little after the ceremony for some beautiful bride and groom shots and then met up with everyone back at the Golf Club for more photos. The day was beautiful, the couple was amazing and their friends and family kept the night rolling! Laura and Mike danced together all night! At the end of the night we had the ballroom to ourselves and they did one last dance before their sparklers sendoff!

I first met Laura and Mike in Lake Placid for their engagement session. They were so easy going and fun to work with! I knew their wedding day would be the same.
