It's the perfect day to be sharing another blog with you, don't you think? Really, every day is!! :)
I'm really excited to be sharing another one of our weddings with you! Lynn and Ben's day was absolutely perfect!
I first became acquainted with Lynn and Ben when we photographed her sister Jeanne's wedding a couple of years ago. Needless to say I was honored that two years later Lynn not only remembered us, but wanted us to photograph their special day! I knew this celebration was going to be just as fun - this family is really so great. And added to that, Ben and his family - what a day it was! There was so much laughter and happiness; I'd love to go back and do it all again!
And the reception was off the hook! A few times I thought the floor was going to fall through because they were all dancing so hard. What a party! DJ Chris of Love of Music really kept the night on fire!
Here's a few of the pro's that helped to make this day special:
Hair and Makeup: Plush Hair Studio
Bridal Gown: A Trace of Lace Bridal Boutique
Men's Attire: JoS. A. Bank
Floral Arrangements: Heavenscent Floral
Officiant: Bradley Ellis
Ceremony Musicians: Brotherless and Family
Ceremony & Reception Venue: The Mansion Inn Saratoga
Bridal Cake: The Mansion Inn Saratoga
Groom's Cake: Villa Italia
Reception Music: Love of Music / Christopher Johnson
So let's get to this blog. As usual, I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites to share with you all!
Love this shot with Lynn and her ladies and mom!
Seriously, she looked so gorgeous!!!
And of course, so did all the ladies. Just beautiful!
Meanwhile, on the other side of the Mansion the guys were busy getting ready...
Love this shot of Ben with his dad.
The guys were having lots of fun! :)
I don't normally post the individual images like these, but the guys were having so much fun and I couldn't resist sharing these. :)
Lynn and Ben didn't want to do an official first look, so we talked over some ideas that each of us had... Here is one of them.
I am impressed that Ben had the willpower NOT to turnaround! I would have at least snuck a peak. :)
And here is another one... this one was a special request of Lynn. :)
Time to make it official!
I always love the shots of the groom seeing the bride for the first time. This is one of my favorites.
Told you there was a lot of laughter during this wedding!
After they said their vows, they did what is called the Passing of the Rings. Each guest was able to hold the rings for a few moments and send out good thoughts to the couple. This particular woman had fun with it. Love it! :)
As I say in almost all of my blogs, my favorite moment is the moment just before the first kiss! Congrats you two! :)
A few bridal portraits before some bride and groom time. This was a great bunch of people!
Cute.
LOVE!
These next two are some of my favorites. In fact, this first one was one of my Facebook teasers (make sure you like us there to see more teasers!)
The second one is the exact same shot but at a different vantage point. LOVE them both!
Love this one!
On our way over to the reception I asked if we could stop and grab a few more quick shots here. Ben was giving Lynn a hug when all of the sudden he stopped and asked if it would be Ok if he picked her up and spun her around. I said heck yeah! And that is how we got these next two shots. So fun!
Last one before the party... Perfection!
Time to celebrate! :)
I love this shot of Lynn, Jeanne and their dad at the end of the father/daughter dance.
A special moment with Ben and his Mom.
As I said earlier, this party was off the hook! I could share lots of fun photos, but I think I'll just give you a few quick favorites and then let Lynn and Ben share the rest with you all! There are lots more! :)
I'll end with this one of Lynn and Ben outside of the Mansion Inn.
Congrats again Lynn and Ben!! Thank you both so much for trusting us to capture all of your special moments! It was a perfect day! Let's do it again! :)
Lynn and Ben will have a full gallery of their images available through the VIP section of our website soon.
Please feel free to post a comment and leave some love for this couple!
