Because of the birth of our twins in 2017, I kept my wedding schedule light. I was selective with the weddings I chose and each one (and couple) was fabulous! I was excited to end my 2017 season with Marissa and Ryan's gorgeous day in Lake Placid! 

I first met up with Marissa and Ryan at Thacher Park on a very windy fall day last year for their engagement session. We toughed out the chills and winds and had a great time! It was fun getting to know them and I knew their wedding day was going to be great. I was right! Their friends and families were a lot of fun, Ryan and Marissa were so easy to work with and the day was a blast!

We started off with their wedding day at a beautiful house they rented in Lake Placid. They didn't want to see each other before the ceremony, so we did an "unofficial" first look at the house. It was really sweet; I saw tears streaming on both faces.

Thanks to Sheena, my assistant and second shooter for the day; I appreciated the help as well as the few times you shocked me awake for the long drive home! :)
